Promise Keeper: Day Five

When was the last time you made a promise? Did you keep it? God also makes promises. He has promised us many things in His word. He is also serious about keeping these promises. This tells us that we can trust Him. In Psalm 119, the author reminds God of the promises He has made and the author reminds God to keep these promises. But we don’t need to remind Him. Rather, it is us who need to be reminded that we can trust God’s promises.
Read the passage below.
Underline the promises listed. Which one is the most important to you?
- Unfailing love

Why is this important to you? Be as specific as you can.
Psalm 119:41, 50, 58
May your unfailing love come to me, Lord,
your salvation, according to your promise;
My comfort in my suffering is this:
Your promise preserves my life.
I have sought your face with all my heart;
be gracious to me according to your promise.
